New Contemporary Worship and Bible Study

Chip and Elisa Schaffer will be leading a weekly Contemporary Worship and Bible Study on Wednesdays in the Sanctuary at 7pm.

PVEC Book Club

The book club will meet again on Tuesday, February 7th at the home of Pam & Terry Dougherty. The book is A Dog's Purpose. The book chosen for March is The Celestine Prophesy. Please let us know if you need a book ordered. Please come out and join in the discussion and camaraderie! We always have a lovely evening!

Organ Donations

An anonymous giver has generously agreed to match any new contributions to our organ fund up to $20,000. If you would like to make a contribution please leave a gift in the offering plate marked "Organ Fund" on the memo line. Please help us make this new organ a reality in 2012!

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Christian Ed will be hosting a pancake breakfast coffee hour fundraiser on Feb. 26th. All donations will go toward our Joplin work camp trip. We hope you will come out and support this worthy cause!

Young Adult Prayer and Share

This is just a reminder that the next Young Adult Prayer and Share is on Feb. 7th at 6pm at the home of Cheryl and Mike Bruno (5 Green St.).

Idea Box

The Worship Commission has established an “Idea Box” for communication from the congregation concerning feedback on current worship practices and ideas for new things you would like to see us try.   So let us know your thoughts.  The box is in the shape of a church and is labeled “Idea Box” and located in the narthex.

Bring a Friend to Church

The Church Growth & Fellowship Commission proudly announces that the last Sunday of every month will be "Bring a Friend to Church" Sunday. Make sure to bring a friend with you to show them all the exciting things that are happening here at PVEC. Take them on a tour of our church and show off our classrooms! Introduce them to our church family during coffee hour and make them feel welcome.

Supermarket Gift Card Program

Each Sunday you read about how many gift cards we sold the previous week. It’s very easy to take part in this fundraiser! It doesn't cost you a dime and the church makes 5% for every dollar you spend. Hey, that’s $5 for every hundred, $10 for every $200, etc. If more people would only try it, you’ll see just how easy it is! The gift cards are available, before and after worship and you can call the church office during the week to get them as well. Please - we need more people to participate - won’t you give it a try?!
